I was planning on starting these posts with my renovated room, but at this current moment the most relevant advantage of being at home is unlimited access to ESPN. Normally having ESPN is advantageous for a multitude of reasons, not the least of which is that there is no better way to start the day than with a cup of coffee and Sports Center. But today, it’s because I was able to witness the breaking news of Brett Favre’s 3rd retirement. Can it really be true? Is he really done? Based on his track record, I’d be willing to bet that he’ll be back – either later this season or next year. I don’t think he’ll really be finished until they cart him off the field…and maybe not even then.

(When all of my attention isn’t consumed by Favre’s latest retirement, I’m also thoroughly enjoying other aspects of having more than 3 channels. And these aspects are known as the Food Network, TLC, and Top Chef On Demand. Life is good.)
