That was the sound of yesterday, the constant emission of a contented sigh.

I slept through the night in a big comfy bed.

I caught up on emails, blogs, and the hundreds of items in my Google Reader.

I watched football. All. Day. Long.

I rejoiced over the Packers shut out victory over the Jets.

I (re)watched It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

I  unexpectedly but sincerely enjoyed every mile of a fantastic run on a treadmill, an apparatus I never thought I would miss.

I did laundry.

I microwaved three meals.

I didn’t leave the hotel all day.

And I booked my free night so I can do it all again next week on my way out of town.

This year I was a hermit for Halloween. A very, very happy hermit.
